The half-day loop
Start at the 36th Street Station, walk the strip north to south for murals and galleries, stop for lunch on a patio, and finish at a taproom. Two hours if you move, four if you do it properly.
This covers the district's identity almost completely. Everything beyond it is depth rather than breadth.
The stops
36th & N. Davidson
The crossroads. Murals, patios, and the densest concentration of everything.
Gallery Row
Working studios and galleries; best on a crawl Friday, still worth walking otherwise.
The taproom stretch
Craft beer within a few blocks of the strip, plus larger production taprooms at the edges.
Cordelia Park
Green space and the Cross Charlotte Trail connection, about fourteen minutes from the station.
